Zhen Wong specializes in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and in providing validity opinions, infringement opinions, freedom to operate opinions and patentability opinions particularly in the fields of life sciences and chemistry.

She is a registered patent agent in Canada since 2002 and in the United States since 2003. She is a member of the Ordre des chimistes du Québec.

Zhen Wong’s clients consist of small, medium and large companies, both from Canada and abroad, who are involved in fields such as:

Zhen Wong has nearly sixteen years of experience in the field of intellectual property. She is particularly experienced in strategic planning, worldwide patent prosecution, pharmaceutical product life cycle management and due diligence.

She is often invited as an advisor in strategic meetings on intellectual property within the academic and industry sectors.

Her strong expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries allows her to advise her clients on how to best protect their valuable assets taking in consideration their business perspectives and goals.

Zhen Wong is the partner responsible for the firm’s patent sector of the life science team. She is also involved in several committees including the business development committee.
